Steps Involved In Modular Construction
From start to finish, you can expect us to take your modular home from concept to reality.
How It Works
Once we start a project we follow a strict operational process to make sure your project comes out exactly as expected.
Design and Planning
When we work on building a modular construction project, the first thing we do is sit down with our clients to understand their needs and requirements. We then proceed with the design and planning stage, which involves creating a detailed set of drawings, blueprints, and specifications for the project. Our experienced design team works closely with the clients to ensure that their vision for the project is fully realized, including the size, shape, and layout of the modular units.
The design and planning stage is one of the most critical steps in the modular construction process, as it sets the foundation for the entire project. Our team takes great care in ensuring that all aspects of the project are well thought out, and we strive to provide our clients with the most efficient and cost-effective solutions. By working collaboratively with our clients, we are able to deliver projects that meet their needs and exceed their expectations.
Procurement & Fabrication of Modular Units
With the completion of the design and planning stage, we move onto fabricating the modular units. This process takes place in our factory, where the pre-manufactured modules are assembled to include pre-wired, pre-plumbed, and necessary finishes.
The fabrication process involves the use of high-quality materials and the latest technology to ensure precision and efficiency in the construction of each module.
Interior Finishing
After the modular units are assembled we deliver the units to construction sites on an as-needed basis to be lifted into place. The interior finishes are then carefully installed. This stage involves putting in place the flooring, cabinetry, countertops, and all other necessary fixtures to create a comfortable and functional living or working space.
Each element is installed with precision to ensure that it meets the highest standards of quality and durability. From stylish finishes to functional design, we take pride in every aspect of the interior finishing process.
Inspection and Testing
Once the modular units are complete, they undergo a rigorous series of inspections and tests to ensure they meet safety and building code requirements. These inspections include thorough checks of the electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems, as well as fire safety and structural integrity tests.
The inspections are conducted by trained professionals who ensure that the modular units are up to code and comply with all relevant safety regulations. Any issues that arise during the inspections are addressed and corrected before the units are approved for occupancy. Once the inspections are complete and the units have passed all necessary tests, they are ready for occupancy and use.
Delivery & Occupancy
Once all necessary inspections and tests have been completed and the building is deemed safe for occupancy, the process of moving in and settling down can begin. This involves obtaining any necessary permits and approvals from local authorities, as well as completing any final touches to the exterior site work, such as landscaping or paving.
The final stages of the project require attention to detail and coordination with all parties involved. This ensures that the project is completed on time, on budget, and to the satisfaction of all stakeholders. Our team will work closely with you to make sure the process is as smooth and stress-free as possible, so that you can move in and start enjoying your new modular building.
